Thursday July 13th 2017
Dear Parent or Carer,
This is the final Thursday letter of this academic year and my final letter as Head teacher at Deri View Primary School. I would like to thank you all for the support you have shown me and the School over the past few years. It has been a privilege to serve the school and the community. I believe the school is in a much stronger position, than it was in 2012, and will continue to constantly strive for excellence for the children, staff and the wider community.
I am confident that Mrs Adelaide Dunn the new Acting Head teacher will support you all in achieving this aim, when she takes up post in September. Mrs Dunn is known to many of you as the Acting Deputy Head teacher at Deri View Primary.
I would also like to thank the following staff, who will also be leaving at the end of term, for their outstanding contribution to the school: Mrs Jill Phillips, Mrs Sue Hunt, Ms Shirley Owen, Mrs Denise Davies, Mrs Hannah Woodhouse and Miss Hannah Townsend.
